50% off QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 and EMV ready PIN Pad
when you upgrade by June 10, 2016
As you are aware, the credit card industry shifted to EMV, a new standard designed to make credit transactions more secure.
Merchants are now expected to have the proper hardware and payment systems in place to process payments made with EMV cards. Otherwise, the burden of credit card fraud may fall on you as the merchant.
If you are a QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop user you must have the following three things in place to be EMV compliant:
- QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop 12.0 software with EMV patch installed
EMV will only be supported on the latest point of sale software version, QuickBooks Point of Sale Desktop 12.0.
- Activated integrated POS Payments account
- EMV ready PIN Pad (iPP350)
PIN pads are currently available for pre-order through Sepulvado Consulting Group and will be shipped as soon as Intuit has them ready. Until then, customers can continue to process payments with the device they currently have. Intuit has extended liability coverage for fraudulent payments until their EMV solution is ready.
Throughout this shift, we have been dedicated to making the change to EMV as easy and as painless as possible for our clients. To assist with end-to-end compliance, we can help you determine the upgrades needed to enable EMV compatibility as well as provide you with the proper EMV-compliant software and terminals for purchase.
We know that making a change can be costly so we are offering 50% off software retail price and 50% off PIN Pad* when you upgrade by June 10, 2016.
